Join an Employee Resource Group
HRSTM is committed to facilitating opportunities to come together as a community to enrich personal experiences and workplace culture. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and our current remote teaching and working status, HRSTM has launched a pilot of two employee groups.
- Working from Home with Children
This group will meet virtually to discuss balancing working from home and managing children simultaneously.
- Managing the Challenges of Working Remotely
This group will meet virtually to discuss the challenges associated with working from home. Topics may include dealing with stress and/or feelings of isolation, maintaining health and wellness, and managing a work/life balance.
Both groups are designed to provide leadership opportunities for those who wish to participate in, initiate or lead a group, and foster a supportive community where all employees can experience a greater sense of belonging. Zoom meetings will be scheduled weekly for each group.

Leave Carry-over Guidance
The College has thoughtfully considered leave carry-over limits and deadlines for 2020. In tandem, the College had to also consider the staffing, scheduling, and financial implications that changes to our leave program may bring. Given the number of unknowns and uncertainties in terms of our remote working conditions, expenses incurred due to the pandemic, and the future of our fiscal situation, the College will not make any changes to the current leave carry-over limitations or deadlines at this time.
