Contribute Your Skills: New Talent Share Program

As a result of our changed work environment, some departments are experiencing an increased workload while others may have employees with increased availability. While you are continuing to support our students, HRSTM is responding to the challenges of COVID-19 by creating opportunities to support each other. By working together, we can share our talents and expertise across the College.

Building a Stronger Community

If you are looking for another way to stay connected to the MC community while working from home, this new initiative may be for you.
The Talent Share program will allow you to:
  • Collaborate with other units and teams to support departments across the College.
  • Increase your network and connections Collegewide.
  • Contribute your skills while adding to your professional growth and development.
Any questions regarding the talent sharing program can be sent to HRSTM. Visit the Talent Share Program web page for more information and FAQs.

FY 2020 Performance Evaluation Tips

A performance evaluation is a process used to promote communication between an employee and supervisor. An evaluation also serves as an opportunity for an employee to provide feedback on their performance and collaboratively set goals with their supervisor. See the tips below to help write your self-assessment.
  • Keeping things simple and using short declarative statements are key to writing an effective self-assessment. This year the scroll bar feature was removed to allow all text to be visible if printed.
  • If additional space is needed for your accomplishments a link “if needed, click here to continue” is available below the text box.
  • Short-term goals should align with job duties and professional development and be achievable during the first quarter.
Additional guidance and performance documents can be found on the Performance Management web page.
