Sign Up for Office Chair Drive-Through
As our extended remote work has required that we continue to adapt our homes into an office environment, often sitting and staring at a monitor for extended periods of time. Many employees are missing the comfort of their office chairs and have expressed interest in bringing these chairs to their home offices. As many of us expect to continue working from homes for the foreseeable future, the College has arranged a contact free drive-through chair pick up during the first two weeks of October. Sign up for a drive-by chair pickup.

Contingency Plan for Flu Shots
Reminder to get your flu shot! While the College is not able to offer on-site flu shots this year due to remote operations and limiting the number of people on campus, both Kaiser Permanente and Cigna are offering the services for members enrolled in their health plans. Kaiser Permanente has four options available: walk-up clinic, drive-thru clinic, in their medical centers, and Saturdays at selected medical centers. Please note that appointments are required for all options. Cigna medical enrollees can go to a participating retail pharmacy. Be sure to call your pharmacy to make sure the vaccine is covered and available. For those employees with medical insurance outside the College, please contact your insurance carrier for more information. In most cases the flu shots are offered for free or a nominal cost at pharmacies or grocery stores.

Time to Review First Quarter Performance Goals for FY21
In previous years, performance goals were developed on a fiscal year basis. This year, goals are developed on a quarterly basis to reflect the challenging times we are working under due to the COVID-19 pandemic and our transition from normal college operations to remote work operations.
It is time to review the goals developed for the first quarter of FY2021, July 1, 2020 through September 30, 2020. This is an opportunity for a conversation to review the status of goals between supervisor/manager and team member and determine whether goals were met, to continue, or to modify. Ongoing feedback during the year, whether quarterly or more frequently, is one strategy for an engaging conversation about the outcomes of goals and to enhance performance. Resources to help you with tracking quarterly goal plans and reviews, and a quarterly goal form are available on the Performance Management web page.
Questions about developing and reviewing goals can be directed to your designated HRIC or email Performance.
