Talent Share Spotlight: Public Safety Employees Support College’s Mobile Markets
“The process for involving my employees was seamless; the enrollment process was very straightforward, simple; and the responses from HRICs were immediate. I met with my staff and explained what was going to be happening with the enrollment in the program and that this would be an excellent opportunity to expand professional development and networking at MC. My staff was very understanding and eager to pitch in to help support others where they needed assistance. When our “match” was made, I was very excited to hear that it would be directly supporting a community service opportunity at the Mobile Markets. My employees were just as excited and eager to be participating in such a rewarding opportunity to serve the community in a different capacity. Talent Share is not an added tax on supervisors—instead, it's a rewarding opportunity to work with others who you may not always have the chance to interact with, and support the greater mission and needs of our MC community.”
—Adam Reid, Interim Director of Public Safety

Employees Can Now Update Direct Deposit Information via MyMC
MC employees can now update their banking information electronically via the MyMC employee portal. Direct deposit is the most efficient, timely, and secure way to receive your payment. It eliminates the possibility of a lost or stolen check and reduces the opportunity for identity theft. Also, it provides receipt of your pay on your scheduled payday versus waiting for a paper check, which is currently mailed on payday, thus delaying its arrival of up to three business days after payday. Using electronic direct deposit, employees can securely add new bank accounts, as well as make changes to existing accounts.

Reminder: HRICs Host Virtual Office Hours
The Human Resources Internal Consultants (HRIC) are hosting virtual office hours once a week for their designated campuses via Zoom. Employees will be able to enter a Zoom waiting room to briefly chat with their HRIC about any HRSTM questions or concerns. Each discussion will be private and the HRIC will ensure only one employee at a time is allowed into the meeting. Employees will be brought into the meeting in the order of arrival into the Zoom waiting room.
