FY21 Performance Evaluations Due Friday, August 20

The final deadline for supervisors to submit FY21 performance evaluations to the Office of Human Resources and Strategic Talent Management (HRSTM) is Friday, August 20, 2021. The following timeline provides guidance for all steps leading up to the HRSTM submission deadline:
  1. June 30, 2021 – Employee submits self-evaluation to supervisor.
  2. July 30, 2021 – Supervisor completes evaluation of employee.
  3. August 1–20, 2021 – Supervisor meets with employee to discuss and sign evaluation.
  4. August 20, 2021 – Supervisor submits evaluation to Performance.
Completed evaluations should be sent to Performance by the supervisor from his or her College email account. Any submissions from a non-College email account will be returned.

Check Out the Employee Data Dashboard Update for July

The Office of Human Resources and Strategic Talent Management’s employee data dashboard provides general data about Montgomery College employees on a regular basis and to encourage self-service to on-demand information and resources. The data for July is updated as of July 16, 2021, which reflects the summer semester. Updates include general information such as the total employee headcount with a breakdown by employee type and demographic groups. We hope this dashboard will help you in planning, answering questions, and better understanding MC employee trends.

The Office of Human Resources and Strategic Talent Management established the Employee Connections Group program to facilitate opportunities for employees to come together as a community to enrich personal experiences. We’re looking forward to the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, and you can help carry the torch to Tokyo, learning fun facts about the Olympic Torch Relay through Japan along the way! Track activity performed during your favorite activities and earn bonus steps for completing Olympic activities in your own workout at home. Register today!

How to Track Your Activities

You can track steps and activities during the challenge in these ways:
  • Use the “Enter Steps” widget to enter steps from a pedometer or a smart phone manually.
  • Use the “Activities” widget to enter the minutes when you participate in your favorite fitness activities.
  • Link your Fitbit or other wearable device to the challenge and your steps will be entered automatically when you log in.
  • Download the Employee Wellness Hub App (EWH) and enter data or track steps with your phone’s motion sensor or link your iPhone health kit (Apple Watch) or Google Fit app.

Reminder: Check Your Pay Stubs for Accurate Tax Withholdings and Benefits Elections

On an ongoing basis, the Office of Human Resources and Strategic Talent Management will include a reminder in Employee Matters for all employees to check their paycheck stubs to ensure that their tax and benefits deductions accurately reflect the desired Federal and state withholdings and benefits plan elections. To view your pay stubs in Banner, log into MyMC, then go to Employee Resources, Pay Information → Pay Stub. Make sure the year you wish to see is selected, then click on Display. Click on the pay dates on the left to view the pay stub details.

How to Change Your Direct Deposit or Tax Witholdings

If you would like to make changes to your direct deposit or tax withholdings, you can make them securely online. To change your direct deposit information, please submit the electronic direct deposit form. To make changes to your tax withholdings, please submit the tax withholding change form.
