Fall 2021 Opening Meeting to Air Live in Remote‑Hybrid Format August 23, 9 a.m.

Professional Week kicks off with the Fall 2021 Opening Meeting led by Interim President Dr. Charlene Dukes on Monday, August 23 at 9 a.m. Only administrators and governance leaders will gather in person for this event. This decision was made just last week out of caution for the contagion of the Delta variant and the local rise in cases. As traditionally has been done, the Fall Opening Meeting will be broadcast live by MCTV and College operations will be suspended from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. so that employees can be engaged. See the Fall Opening Meeting program.

MC Welcomes Newly Hired Part-Time Faculty

We recognize that this is a busy time of year, and in order to reduce challenges associated with last minute hiring, we are asking that part-time faculty new hire information be submitted to the Office of Human Resources and Strategic Talent Management by Friday, August 20, 2021. This will help to ensure that new part-time faculty are hired and ready to start work on Monday, August 30, 2021. We will continue to do our best to process new hires as efficiently as possible but please be aware that we are unable to guarantee that new-hire paperwork received after August 20 will be completed prior to the start of the fall semester.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact Roz Sanders.
