“Prepare to Protect.” September is National Preparedness Month

The Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management (OPSEM) has partnered with the College’s academic Emergency Preparedness Management and Homeland Security programs to share some helpful information about National Preparedness Month 2021. The 2021 theme is “Prepare to Protect. Preparing for disasters is protecting everyone you love.”
Throughout the month of September, OPSEM will be sharing various tips, clips, and images on creating an emergency plan and kit stocked with such items as a flashlight with extra batteries, water, a first aid kit, and other items in case of a need to shelter in place or evacuate. Find helpful information on what to do in the event of an emergency, view the College’s emergency operation plan and the College's emergency plan for individuals with disabilities.
