FY21-22 Administrator and Staff Compensation Market Study Results

The classification and compensation team within the Office of Human Resources Strategic and Talent Management partnered with Segal, a human resources consulting firm, to conduct a compensation market study. This study served to validate that Montgomery College’s current salary structures reflect the institution’s compensation philosophy, align with relevant labor markets, remain internally equitable, and are fiscally sustainable. The scope of the study includes staff, administrator, department chair, and full-time faculty positions. The administrator and staff compensation market study has been completed. View the findings, recommendations, and next steps in the collegewide memo that was sent out Tuesday, October 12. The full-time faculty and department chair study is currently underway and is scheduled for completion in December.

After a Tough Year, You Deserve a Medal!

As we head into the final stretch of a tough year, take some time off to recharge and discover the benefits of a little rest and relaxation—it’s a golden opportunity. As a reminder, the use-or-lose deadline for annual and personal leave is December 23. See the article below for details. It’s also that time of year for Montgomery College’s Open Enrollment period: October 25 through November 12. Log in to Workday to review your current benefits, update your beneficiaries, and your emergency contacts. During open enrollment, you have the option to change your benefit plans for the upcoming year. Outside of the open enrollment period, you can only change your benefits if there is a life-altering event including, but not limited to, marriage, divorce, and birth/adoption of a child. Stay tuned for information on open enrollment.
