More Than 3,230 MC Employees Verify They Are Vaccinated Against COVID-19
As of today, November 17, 2021, more than 3,230 Montgomery College employees have submitted verification of COVID-19 vaccination status, representing 97 percent of all submissions received. A total of 111 employees have submitted a request for an exception to the vaccination requirement due to medical or religious reasons. This group represents only three percent of the total submissions received. While exception requests are being reviewed and processed, these employees are required to follow the College’s weekly COVID-19 testing protocol.
Part-time faculty who do not have a current course assignment this semester, but are expected to teach in spring, have until Friday, December 3, to submit their proof of COVID-19 vaccination or request an exception to the vaccination requirement due to medical or religious reasons. For more information, please see Employee Vaccination and Testing Requirements.
