  • Use the Benefits app to confirm 2022 benefit elections and beneficiaries (if applicable).
(Please note that most of the bi-weekly insurance premium deductions for benefits plans increased as of January 1, 2022. Contact the Benefits Team to report any errors.)

  • Use the Pay app to review and confirm payment elections for payroll and reimbursements.
(Please note that you must be connected to the College’s secure network onsite or by VPN to make payment election changes.)

  • Read the memo about Your Pay in Workday and review the guide for help understanding your payslip.

Use the Absence app in Workday to enter leave requests.

Non-Exempt (Hourly) Employees and Their Supervisors:

Use the Time app in Workday to enter hours worked.

Begin to enter hours worked for the January 22–February 4, 2022 pay period on a regular basis. Employees must submit timesheets and supervisors must approve by noon on Friday, February 4, 2022 (Update on February 2, 2022: The timesheet deadline was extended one day to Saturdays at noon for hourly employees, beginning Saturday, February 5, 2022). Please plan to enter time daily, which allows Payroll to review on an ongoing basis and to assist employees and supervisors.
Hourly employees: Enter total hours worked as “Regular” and Workday will make the overtime calculations, if applicable. Please refer to the Enter Time video and the Enter Time and Enter Time for Shift Differential job aids on the Workday Training page under HRSTM and Payroll.
Only non-exempt (hourly) employees report hours worked on timesheets in Workday; exempt (salary) employees do not have timesheets in Workday.
