New Timesheet Deadline for Hourly Employees Extended to Saturdays at Noon

New Deadline Begins This Week

In response to internal audit guidance and recommendations and time management best practices, the bi‑weekly timesheet deadline will be extended by one day to Saturdays at noon to include all applicable hourly shifts during the pay period. Beginning with the pay period ending February 4, 2022, timesheets are due and supervisors must review and approve by noon on Saturday, February 5, 2022 (hourly employees only). In addition, time entry corrections can be made at any time for 30 days following the timesheet approval deadline. Keeping detailed and accurate timesheets is critical. Employees should enter time on a daily basis and supervisors should review time, including Time Off and/or Leave, for accuracy before approval.
Timesheet deadlines will still be adjusted for holidays. View the pay periods and pay dates schedule for more details.

2021 W-2 Forms Now Available on MyMC

The W-2 tax forms for 2021 are now available on MyMC under Employee Services; they are not accessible in Workday. Those who did not opt for the electronic version of the W-2 in Banner, paper copies were sent via U.S. mail on Friday, January 21, 2022.
For detailed instructions on accessing and reading your W-2 form, please see the 2021 W-2 Tax Forms memo.
If some time has passed since you last accessed MyMC and you are having an issue of logging in, you may need to access the Claim Your Account link on MyMC and enter your M number. If you still have issues with logging on, please contact the IT Service Desk at 240-567-7222.
Beginning in 2022, electronic W-2s will be available in Workday, but employees will need to make an active electronic consent election.
In reviewing 2021 W2s, many employees have inquired about when the final 2021 Social Security wages will populate in Social Security Administration (SSA) accounts. The W2 file for the previous tax year is due to SSA by January 31. Once received and processed, it can take 30 to 45 days to reflect on employees’ SSA wage statements, which typically means employees will see it between the end of February up to mid-March.
For W-2 questions, please contact the Payroll Services team.

MC Professor and Donor Ray Gonzales: “Affordability for Our Students Is Paramount”

Mr. Raymond Gonzales, professor and chair, English Language for Academic Purposes (ELAP) Linguistics, and Communication Studies Department at Rockville Campus, has supported Montgomery College students through philanthropy in his program and other areas of the College for more than 20 years.
