MC’s Mask Mandate to Remain in Effect

Montgomery College’s indoor masking continues in full force, even as we hear Maryland and other states are lifting theirs. The College will make its own decisions on mask requirements, based on the latest public health guidance and what best serves the needs of our mission. Higher quality masks such as KN95s and KF94s or double masking are still strongly encouraged. KN95s can be secured from the College’s public safety offices or requested through the Office of Facilities, and are available at several local public libraries.

Areas for Growth Opportunities

Workday Q&A:

How Do I Add a Profile Photo?

As you confirm your contact details through the Personal Information app in Workday, you should also add a profile photo. The ability to view members of our community within Workday makes the experience more personal and helps identify names and positions with faces. After logging in to Workday and opening the Personal Information app, click on “Photo” under “Change” to upload a photo that is saved in one of the following formats: GIF, JPEG, PNG,TIFF, or BMP. The image should be a recent photo in which the employee is the only subject. The employee's face should be visibile and in focus. Drag and drop your photo file into the light gray box or choose “Select files” to upload your photo file. Click “Submit” or ”Save for Later.” Repeat this process if you wish to change your photo in the future.
