Recruiting: Part-Time Faculty for Spring SemesterCan you believe that the calendar year is coming to a close and classes for the spring semester will begin on January 23, 2023?
With this in mind, hiring managers should submit job requests for part‑time faculty for the upcoming semester.
Recruiting is a process that entails locating competent and qualified people. Contrary to most people's beliefs, filling a faculty position isn't as easy as 1-2-3. Recruiting involves writing the ad, and finding prospective candidates through personal outreach, professional networks, organizations, referrals, recent graduates, and previous applicants.
Help us help you by submitting your request for recruiting part‑time faculty that will help advance MC's educational mission so we can attract, screen, and retain the best part-time faculty for our students.

Making a Career Change at MC
For the longest time, you may have been waiting for the opportunity to make a career step and move into a different position. However, you may be asking yourself, “Will the 6-month probation period in a new position pose a risk for me?”
We encourage you to reframe your thinking; try not to view the 6-month probation as a barrier. This is the time needed to ensure your commitment to the role and time needed to learn the new position while enhancing your skills.
Set yourself up for a successful probationary period. Ensure that you have clear goals and objectives for your probationary period. Communicate with your supervisor on a regular basis regarding your progress, including both successes and any barriers you may be facing. Examine the position's description. What new knowledge do you need to gain? What professional or technological skills do you need to develop?
Talk with your colleagues and others working in similar positions to have a better understanding of the duties involved. Actively participate or volunteer in organizations that are related to your field of interest.
Choose a career that you are passionate about. The goal is to ensure that this position will help you grow and advance in a field that you enjoy.
The mission of MC is to enrich the lives of our students, faculty, and staff. Listen to your inner voice and apply for the position that you've been longing for and deserve!
