2022 Full-Time Staff and Administrators Time Off Reporting and Carryover
The end of the calendar year is approaching, so we wanted to remind full-time staff and administrators about the College's annual and personal time off carryover limits and deadlines.
Workday divides absences into two categories: Time Off and Leave. Time Off refers to accrued time off allowances for day-to-day or short-term absences, such as annual, sick, personal, etc. Leave refers to long-term absences, like Family and Medical Leave (FML), sabbatical, professional, development, etc.

Veterans Day: Honoring All Who Served
Veterans Day is celebrated every year on November 11. It was initially called Armistice Day to honor the heroism of those who died serving our country. The date, November 11, is significant because it is the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I in 1918. In 1954, the holiday was changed to Veterans Day to honor all veterans who served in the military.
Please take a moment to remember our veterans and thank those who have served our great country.
If you are a veteran, the Employee Services Council would like to hear from you! Please take a few moments to complete this form.

Degree Attainment Award
Are you in the process of earning a progressively higher-level degree? If you are a staff (bargaining or non-bargaining) or administrator, you may be eligible for a one-time, lump sum award for attaining a degree.
That's right. Continuing your education can provide an additional monetary award at the conclusion of your degree program.
A degree attainment award may be approved if it was obtained from a regionally accredited institution, while employed at MC. Degree programs include an associate's degree, bachelor's degree, master's degree, and/or a professional or terminal degree. A degree attainment award does not need to be directly related to your current position.
A degree attainment can be requested by submitting a request form and degree transcripts—submitted directly from the respective college/university or National Student Clearing House.
For more information on degree attainments, including eligibility, FAQs, and how to request/apply, please visit the Classification and Compensation webpage.
