FY23 Required Training Update

Two FY23 required training classes have become available. The complete list of classes are available on the HRSTM Required Training webpage.

The first course is Preventing Sexual Harassment and Workplace Discrimination and Retaliation, which is crucial for creating a positive and inclusive work environment. It protects employees from harmful behavior and promotes a culture of respect and professionalism. It also helps establish clear expectations and guidelines for appropriate behavior and educate employees on how to recognize and report any incidents of harassment or discrimination.

The second course is Mental Health and Substance Use, which are important topics that affect everyone. Mental health refers to our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It is important to be aware of these challenges and know how to identify when someone may be experiencing difficulties.

Emergency Evacuation Accommodation

It is important for all employees to have an emergency evacuation plan in place in the event of an emergency. Those who may need assistance during an evacuation due to a disability should consider identifying themselves to employers and building managers to aid in the planning process.
If you have a disability and need to develop and emergency evacuation plan, please contact Michael Harting, Emergency Management and Outreach Coordinator.
If you have a disability and wish to request an ADA accommodation, contact Rowena D’Souza, ADA Coordinator for faculty and staff.
