2022 W-2 Forms Now Available in Workday The W-2 tax forms for 2022 are now available in Workday. To access your 2022 W-2 form, go to the Menu and select the Pay app. Under View, click on My Tax Documents.
All employees also received a paper copy, which were sent via U.S. mail on Friday, January 13, 2023. Please note that our payroll tax services vendor, Ceridian, made a formatting error when printing the W-2s and mailed them before we had an opportunity to review for accuracy. All wage and deduction data on the mailed W-2 is accurate, however, some boxes on that form are incomplete. The following boxes are missing data, if applicable, for benefits-eligible employees: Box 12 (Health Benefits), Box 13 (Retirement Plan), and Box 14 (ST Pickup, which is State Retirement contributions).
An updated W-2 with the missing data, which is NOT a W-2C, will be mailed out to benefits-eligible employees only by January 31, 2023 for your records. Casual Temps and Student Workers were not affected and, therefore, they will not receive an updated W-2 in the mail.

First Paycheck of 2023: Check Your Tax and Updated Benefits DeductionsFriday, January 13, 2023, was the first biweekly pay date for the new year.
All employees should go to the Workday Pay app and "View Payslips" to ensure accuracy of tax withholdings and Payment Elections.
All employees can make changes to Withholding Elections and Payment Elections in the Workday Pay app. Click here for a reminder about how to read and understand Payslips in Workday.
If you have not enrolled in direct deposit, we encourage you to do so at any time under Payment Elections. Faculty and staff should review payslips to ensure accuracy of any benefit deduction changes made during open enrollment, including new Health Savings Account and/or Flexible Spending Account elections and 403(b)/457(b) election changes.
Any benefits discrepancies should be reported to HR Benefits.

Emergency Evacuation Accommodation
It is important for all employees to have an emergency evacuation plan in place in the event of an emergency. Those who may need assistance during an evacuation due to a disability should consider identifying themselves to employers and building managers to aid in the planning process.
