Coming Soon: “Your Voice, Your MC” Employee Survey
It is important to obtain employees’ perspectives on the College because we continuously learn from them. One important way we achieve this is through regular employee experience and climate surveys.
The most recent, “Your Voice, Your MC,” survey occured in 2021. Your involvement resulted in the translation of essential employee memos, signage, and trainings into Spanish, as well as an improvement in governance communication with more frequent webpage updates to track meeting topics and recommendations.
It is time to solicit feedback from employees again through this survey, which will be available from February 6–20.
Please be on the lookout for an email that will contain the survey from ModernThink, a third party organization. We encourage all full-time and part-time faculty, staff, and administrators to participate so your voice can be heard!

Cigna Health Plans and Privia Medical Group: What Do I Need to Do?
If you are enrolled in one of the College’s Cigna medical plans, you may have received letters at home from Cigna and Privia Medical Group.
Privia owns medical practices with doctors that accept Cigna and are in-network with Open Access Plus (OAP), which is the network the College uses for all of our medical plans. Privia is negotiating the renewal of their contract with Cigna and there is a chance they may not be able to come to an agreement, given the increases they have requested.
If they are not able to come to an agreement by February 19, 2023, Privia will terminate their contract with Cigna as of February 20, 2023.
What does this mean to you? Your preventive care will no longer be covered in full but will be covered at the out of network level. You may find a new physician by registering on Cigna or call their customer support. If Privia drops out of the network, and you have an acute medical condition being treated by a Privia doctor that requires continuity of care, you may apply to have your benefits paid as in-network for a period of time.
If you have any specific questions, please email HR Benefits.

Emergency Evacuation Accommodation It is important for all employees to have an emergency evacuation plan in place in the event of an emergency. Those who may need assistance during an evacuation due to a disability should consider identifying themselves to employers and building managers to aid in the planning process.
