“Your Voice, Your MC” Employee Survey
You should have received an email from ModernThink, a third party organization, about the launch of “Your Voice, Your MC,” which is the 2023 employee experience and climate survey. The College’s leaders genuinely want to hear about our experiences as faculty, staff, department chairs, and administrators.
The deadline to complete the survey is Monday, February 20, 2023, at 11:59 p.m.
Everyone is encouraged to participate and provide honest feedback so your voice can be heard!

Spread the Love Drive: February 6–17The Staff Council is collaborating with the SHaW Center to sponsor a food and hygiene drive to support the campus food pantries. Collection bins will be placed in strategic locations across the three campuses, including the CT building and GBTC. The donation sites are listed on the Staff Council website.
In addition, please take a moment to write some words of encouragement to our students on a valentine heart! The blank hearts are located in the CT kitchen areas or near the donation bins on campus. The valentines will be attached to items in the food pantry or distributed to student support departments by the SHaW Center.
If you have any questions, please contact Staff Council.

Overload Pay Dates for Full-time FacultyFor academic year 2022–2023, full-time faculty (FTF) will receive overload pay based on their spring course start dates.
FTF should consult with their department's administrative aide (AA) for information about their pay dates. As a reminder, first-half term classes started the week of January 23. The classes that put FTF over 30 ESH are considered overload and will be paid over eight (8) pays with the first pay date on February 24, 2023 and the last pay date on June 2, 2023. Second-half term classes start the week of March 27. The remaining classes that qualify for overload will be paid over five (5) pays with the first pay date on April 7, 2023 and the last pay date on June 2, 2023. Depending on the department's submission date, the first overload pay date for FTF will be on February 24 or April 7.

Reminder: 2022 W-2 Forms Now Available in Workday
The W-2 tax forms for 2022 are now available in Workday. To access your 2022 W-2 form, go to the Menu and select the Pay app. Under View, click on My Tax Documents.
All employees also received a paper copy, which were sent via U.S. mail on Friday, January 13, 2023. Please note that our payroll tax services vendor, Ceridian, made a formatting error when printing the W-2s and mailed them before we had an opportunity to review for accuracy. All wage and deduction data on the mailed W-2 is accurate, however, some boxes on that form are incomplete. The following boxes are missing data, if applicable, for benefits-eligible employees: Box 12 (Health Benefits), Box 13 (Retirement Plan), and Box 14 (ST Pickup, which is State Retirement contributions).
An updated W-2 with the missing data, which is NOT a W-2C, was mailed out to all benefits-eligible employees on January 31, 2023, except those that have elected electronic delivery only in Workday. Casual Temps and Student Workers were not affected and, therefore, they did not receive an updated W-2 in the mail.

Emergency Evacuation Accommodation It is important for all employees to have an emergency evacuation plan in place in the event of an emergency. Those who may need assistance during an evacuation due to a disability should consider identifying themselves to employers and building managers to aid in the planning process.
