Summer Pause on SRAs,Teachers’ Pension, and 10-Month Employee Deductions Begins June 13
As you may be aware, deductions for Supplemental Retirement Annuities (SRAs), the Teachers’ Pension System, and 10-month employees’ insurance are based on 20 pays and therefore are stopped over the summer. Pay received between June 13 and August 23 will not include these deductions.
Employees who are enrolled in the Employees Pension System and 12‑month employees have deductions taken all year long (26 pays). Full-time faculty who are enrolled in the Deferred Pay program have their pay spread out over 26 pays but remain on 20 pays for insurance deductions. See the FY25 pay periods and pay dates schedule.
