MC Employee Weight Loss Meetup Join us for a monthly weight loss meetup, beginning Thursday, January 30, 2025, led by weight loss coach Elyse. While you are not required to be weighed, the meetup offers support and guidance on weight loss. Coach Elyse will provide information on intuitive eating and other strategies to help you meet your goals.

Free Mental Health Support Through FSAP We want to remind all MC employees that free, confidential mental health support is available through the MC CARES Faculty Staff Assistance Program (FSAP). FSAP offers six (6) free counseling sessions per issue for you and your household members. This service is also available to student employees. For more information, visit the MC CARES page.
- Cigna Members are eligible for free health coaching and two (2) free mental health counseling sessions (EAP) through your medical insurance.
- Kaiser Members are eligible for free wellness coaching and access to the Calm app for relaxation and mindfulness.
Free Biometric Screenings Free biometric screenings for blood pressure, diabetes (A1c), cholesterol, and BMI are available to all MC employees, retirees, and spouses.

Period Activity Pay Reminders for Spring 2025
As a reminder, Period Activity Pay (PAP) is how all part-time faculty (PTF) are paid in Workday and must be entered by administrative aides (AAs) based on the timelines set by HRSTM to ensure timely payment. Please note the following PAP dates for the spring semester.
Spring Pay for Part-Time Faculty The number of payments will vary based on when the classes occur (i.e., the specific Part of Term). The majority of spring classes are in Part of Term 1, which will be paid over nine (9) pay dates.
The first pay date for the spring semester for PTF working Part of Term 1 will be Friday, February 7, 2025, and the ninth (9th) and final pay will be on Friday, May 30, 2025. AAs were contacted directly with specific details.
