SRA Deductions Will Continue Year-Round Starting June 13
Beginning Friday, June 13, 2025, your Supplemental Retirement Annuity (SRA) deductions will continue throughout the year instead of stopping after 20 pay periods.
What’s changing: SRA deductions will automatically continue through all 26 pay periods for both faculty and staff.
Action needed: None, unless you want to keep the 20-pay schedule. If you take no action, deductions will automatically continue through summer pay, including earnings from summer teaching, overload, and deferred pay.
- Access your SRA elections in Workday, under the Benefits and Pay Hub. Then, go to change Retirement Savings.
- Set June 6, 2025, as the effective date.
- Follow the remaining prompts to select Waive for your applicable 403(b) and/or 457(b) plan(s) for which you wish to stop deductions during the Summer. You will have to restart your contributions when the academic year begins.
- To restart deductions, repeat these steps, using August 15, 2025, as the effective date, follow the remaining prompts, and choose Select to reinstate your SRA election(s) as a percentage of your biweekly pay.
